The lens through which we view our world and ourselves dictates how we perceive ourselves and the world around us.
The thing is there are many different lens and many different vantages to look from. What kind of lens are you using?  Compassionate? Critical?  Focused? Wide angle? We’ll practice observing,  witnessing, and shifting our perspective so that we might learn what best serves us and when to shift and shed and when to root down and hold.

Mondays 8:30 – 9:30 AM Level 1 Back to Basics

This class is for EVERYONE Both the seasoned yogi looking to hone their practice and the beginner.

This 6 week exploration will include:

  • Breath instruction and Pranayama practices
  • Correct aliment of postures for your body
  • Focusing awareness on how a posture feels and its effects on the body and mind

Wednesday 7:30 – 9:00 PM All Levels Restore & Relax

This class begins with a gentle flow designed to release tension and settles in to longer held restorative postures and a final extended relaxation.

This 6 week exploration will include:

  • Opportunities to recognize hidden tension our body stores
  • Ways to ease and release physical and emotional stress
  • A baseline of relaxation and presence for the students to connect with and tap into both on and off the mat

Friday 8:30 – 9:30 AM All Levels 1/2 Strength and Patience

This journey is designed to test your patience with yourself. Tapas (discipline) and ishvara pranidhyana (surrender) are two of the eight limbs of yoga. Using these two limbs to focus our awareness, find our edge and our patience with it.

This series will challenge you to:

  • Play with the edge of your ability
  • Strengthen the body
  • Practice patience and compassion with yourself
